Ernie Campo, President of E.A. Campo and Associates. E.A. Campo and Associates is a domestic and international consulting firm, specializing in the financial services field. He has over 30 years experience and business accomplishments in the retail, catalog, and banking industries.  Ernie has held numerous executive positions inside Morgan Stanley, Discover Card, Prime Option MasterCard and Sears Roebuck & Company before starting his consulting company. 

His background and business experience includes extensive work with business start-ups and proven results involving businesses with aggressive growth targets.  He was a key player in the strategic planning and launching of Discover Card.  This resulted in many successful growth accomplishments spanning the first eighteen years of its history.

E.A. Campo & Associates was started in 2000 to fill a specific niche in the retail, catalog, and banking businesses.  Ernie's business background in these specific industries is unique and notable since many companies today compete with an organization that often includes all three areas of specialization.

E.A. Campo & Associates' business model includes the outsourcing of senior level consultants when required.  Ernie is the lead consultant on most projects with a professional senior outsource team that is available only if needed.  It is a cost effective alternative to many consulting firms who have a large back office support staff which will translate into higher consulting fees.  Our goal is to offer lower fees with a better end product for the client.

E.A. Campo & Associates has been involved in numerous new business opportunities, loyalty reward projects, credit card, debit card and gift card assignments.  Ernie has also been retained to assist clients in executive and vendor search work, attrition concerns, customer service solutions, call center work, merchant processing improvements as well as credit card bank searches and portfolio sales.  All of these assignments were designed to achieve better cost economies while achieving better servicing and profitable solutions.

Ernie has earned both an undergraduate in Psychology and an MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University.  He also attended the University of Michigan Executive Center for Finance.
